Cold with chills and nausea

 

● “Saikokeishito” is a prescription found in Chinese classic medical publications “Shokanron” and “Kinkiyoryaku.”
● It is effective for late stages of a cold, colds that accompany nausea, and gastroenteritis that accompanies abdominal pain.
● It is effective for colds that accompany a low grade fever, chills, and headache.
● It is effective for colds with a persistent low grade fever, chills, joint pain and nausea after a few days of onset.

Ingredients

The adult daily dose of 2 packets (2.25 g/packet) contains:
Saikokeishito extract (3/4 dose) - 3,000 mg
(Extracted from 3.75g of Bupleurum Root, 3.0g of Pinellia Tuber, 1.875g of Cinnamon Bark, 1.5g of Peony Root, 1.5 g of Scutellaria Root, 1.5 g of Ginseng, 1.5 g of Jujube, 1.125g of Glycyrrhiza, and 0.375g of Ginger)
Excipients - hydroxypropylcellulose and lactose

Therapeutic effect

The following medical conditions experienced by people whose physical strength is moderate or slightly frail when there are frequent abdominal pain and occasional low-grade fever, chills, headache, or nausea: Gastroenteritis, symptoms associated with mid to late stage colds.

Dosage and administration

Take the following amount twice a day before or between meals with water or hot water.
Adult (15 years or older) - 1 packet/dose
7 to 14 years old - 2/3 of the packet/dose
4 to 6 years old - 1/2 of the packet/dose
2 to 3 years old - 1/3 of the packet/dose
Less than 2 years old - 1/4of the packet/dose

Precautions for use

This product should not be used if any of the following applies:
Infants aged less than 3 months

(3) Elderly people
(4) Have a history of developing rash, redness, or itchiness after taking medicine, etc.

(6) Have been diagnosed with the following symptoms:High blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease

Affected part of the body / Symptoms:
Skin /  Rash, redness, itchiness, pain
Other / Frequent urination, pain with urination, blood in urine, a feeling of residual urine
The following rare and serious symptoms may occur.See your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following:
Interstitial pneumonia
Shortness of breath develops when climbing up the stairs or do strenuous/stressful work. Difficulty breathing, dry cough, fever, etc. may develop suddenly or persistently.
Pseudoaldosteronism, myopathy
Listlessness and muscle soreness may appear and gradually intensify in addition to feeling weary and numb in the hands and legs, tightness and rigidity.
Liver functional impairment:
Fever, itchiness, rash, jaundice (yellowing of skin and white part of the eye), brown urine, general listlessness, loss of appetite, etc. may appear.
3. Stop taking this product if medical conditions do not improve after about a month (To be taken for about a week for symptoms that develop in the mid to late stage of colds). Consult with your doctor, pharmacist, or a registered distributor and present this document.
